    That's the thing - I live 8 hours from the nearest Taylor dealer. Just wondering if it lives up to the hype....

      Taylors are almost worth their retail sticker price IMHO. They project much louder than Martins, and they have much more sustain as well.
      
      
      If you have the $$, go for it, but like Martins I think Taylors are in general way overpriced.
