Hi everyone....
Recently purchased a RainSong, and although I dig the guitar, I'm not wild about the Fishman Prefix Plus-T pickup. The controling interface and built-in tuner are cool, but I just don't dig that rocking Piezo sound.
Wondering if it would work to put in a Seymour Duncan mag-mike and wire it into the controler, bypassing the piezo system. Any thoughts on if this could be done?
Thanks!

Re: Modifying a Fishman pickup?
Mon, February 27, 2006 - 10:30 AMRather than messing with the pickup system, I would run it through a Yamaha AG-Stomp. It'll take take that piezo sound and smooth it out real sweet. Plus, you get a shit load of other effects to play with.
