Well, a some what sad day, as I sold my Yamaha 12 string today @ the store. I loved the sound, but the larger neck and string tension tweaked my tendonitis, so we had to part.
Five years together, all of them good. A bunch of jam sessions, studio appearances, numerous live shows in faithful service. A couple of months ago she even was on stage at the arena, when Nazareth came to town and needed a 12 for a tender ballad in front of thousands. She sounded great, looking graceful even with the store tag the guitar tech neglected to take off dangling form her headstock.
Goodbye old friend, I'll miss you. May you serve your new owner well.

My first guitar is a 12 string. I am learning on a 6 string guitar now. Yes, i am stil learning
