hey all, so after 14 years of playing guitar, ive finally bought a brand spanking new acoustic, ive had others, but they were always used when i aquired them. the guy at the shop said i had to bring it back after a few monthes of use to intonate

Mon, March 13, 2006 - 8:19 PMYou can intonate right out of the box but any guitar can use a little tweaking after a couple months. The top and neck will both break in with a little time and adjust to it's new climate. That will cause the action and scale length to change a bit.
